VACCINATIONS

It is important that all cats are fully inoculated against Feline Enteritis and Influenza and that their vaccinations are up to date.  If your cat’s vaccinations fall due prior to boarding, please ensure that there are at least three weeks between the booster and arrival at the Cattery.  Please bring your Vaccination Certificate(s) with you each time your cat(s) is boarded.

NO CAT(S) WILL BE ALLOWED IN FOR BOARDING IF THEIR VACCINATIONS ARE OUT OF DATE.

FLEAS AND WORMS

Please make sure that your cat(s) is adequately treated for FLEAS, WORMS and other PARASITES before boarding. Failure to do so means the Cattery will treat your pet(s) with the necessary medication and an extra charge will be added to your bill at the end of your pet(s) stay.

VETERINARY CHARGES

Pet Plan Insurance is included in the price and gives cover of up to £1250.00 on any veterinary charges that may be incurred during your cat’s stay at the Cattery.  However, this does not cover any veterinary fees incurred for conditions prevailing prior to boarding.  Any veterinary fees that may be incurred, due to prevailing conditions, will be passed on to the owner(s).

Should your pet fall ill, whilst in the care of the Cattery, if major surgery is required, the cat has to be put to sleep or the cat dies whilst in the care of the Cattery, we need to know what procedures you would like us and the Vet to take in order for all your wishes and the necessary steps to be taken.

In order for the Cattery to contact you, should the need arise, it is important that an up to date mobile phone number, or other contact number, and an email address is given if possible. We would also take a note of a family member or friend’s telephone number, so that if you are not contactable, we can get in touch with either of them to get a decision.

MEDICATION

Should any cat be taking medication, we are happy to continue with the treatment required, including daily injections for pets with Diabetes, providing we have your permission to do so. If your pet falls ill whilst staying at the Cattery and has to see a Vet, we need your approval that we can give your pet any medication that the Vet may prescribe.

If there is a possibility that your pet is prone to Cystitis, Eye and Ear infections, Fits or any other problems, then please advise so that we are alerted and can take the necessary action immediately.

UN-NEUTERED CATS

Sorry, but entire adult males (over the age of 1 year) cannot be accepted for boarding.
