A full day's board is charged for the arrival and departure days.

If a Cat's owner returns before the end of the boarding period, the full charge will still apply in order to compensate for loss of earnings from refusing earlier bookings.

Meadow Cottage Boarding Cattery is positioned within a quiet country setting and is a cat only environment with personal attention given at all times.

I, the proprietor, have been an owner of cats for over 30 years and at the moment am owned by 7 Burmese cats and 1 Persian/Chinchilla cat. I am a member of The Feline Advisory Bureau, The Burmese Cat Club, The RSPCA, The Blue Cross and The PDSA.

Chalets:

All chalets are heated with a small radiator, have window shelves, sleeping benches and cat flaps. Pens are separated by brick walls (bottom) and translucent sheets for sneeze barriers (above). For added security there is a safety corridor adjacent to the runs.

Vaccinations:

It is important that all cats are fully inoculated against Feline Enteritis and Influenza and that their vaccinations are up to date. If your cat's vaccinations fall due prior to boarding, please ensure that there are at least three weeks between the booster and arrival at the Cattery. Please bring your Vaccination Certificate(s) with you each time your cat(s) is boarded. NO CAT(S) WILL BE ALLOWED IN FOR BOARDING IF THEIR VACCINATIONS ARE OUT OF DATE.

Fleas:

Please make sure that your cat(s) are adequately treated for FLEAS* and other parasites before boarding.*

Veterinary Charges:

Pet Plan Insurance is included in the charges and gives cover of up to £650.00 on any veterinary fees that may be incurred during your cat's stay at the Cattery. However, this does not cover any veterinary fees incurred for conditions prevailing prior to boarding. Any veterinary fees that may be incurred, due to prevailing conditions, will be passed on to the owner(s).
Medication: Should any cat be under medication, we are happy to continue with the treatment required. If there is a possibility that your cat is prone to cystitis, eye and ear infections, fits, or any other problems, then please advise so that we are alerted and can take the necessary action immediately.
*Un-neutered Cats:*

Sorry, but entire adult males (over the age of 1 year) cannot* be accepted for boarding.*

Sharing:

Only cats from the same household will be allowed to share. There are facilities for up to 4 cats sharing.

Bedding:

Bedding is provided but owners are welcome to bring their pets own bedding, together with toys, scratching posts and anything else that may help to make their pets have a happy and enjoyable stay.

Diets:

Individual diets are catered for wherever possible, except for prescription diets where we ask that you bring in your own supply.

Grooming:

Grooming is provided during boarding, if required.

Inspections:

Visitors are welcome to inspect the Cattery preferably BY APPOINTMENT* and are asked not to touch any of the cats in order to minimise the spread of infection.*

Parking:

To ensure your own, your pet's and your car's safety, please drive in off the road, there is plenty of parking space within the grounds.
